Certainly one of the thickest, most impenetrable forests upon Vixentile, the Opaque Grove is known purely for how difficult it is to navigate. For any unaccustomed to the difficult maze of thick trees, vines, and moss, this wood would be nothing less than a nightmare—however, those of Rhazorn descent hardly share the same views on the matter. Seeing as these are the equines of which have been here since the beginning of time, they have mastered the compressed cluster of brush, and can travel through the layer of trees rather easily, as though it is no problem whatsoever. It’s not likely that a stranger would get far, and it is for this reason I suggest that newcomers beware, as you may be swift, but the horses that reside here know what they’re doing, and always have an advantage.

• • hazy everglade
Within the depths of the Opaque Grove lays a large, hazy marsh, tucked neatly within the concealment of the trees surrounding it. The water is constantly murky and a rather eerie, ghastly haze seems to loom over the area, unforgiving in its suffocating, constricting embrace. Few tread here, as though the area itself may be thought of as safe, very few are confident that what lurks within the water is little more than several fish, and a handful of insects.

• • cascading brook
As you dive further into the treacherous territory, the trees begin to thin, until the ground is merely scattered with them, the sun’s light finally able to fend off the shadows that would otherwise be lingering upon the forest floor. It is here, near what could possibly be called a clearing, where a small, quick-moving creek slips through the middle of the territory. It’s rather little, and is no deeper than an equine’s knees, however provides a needed source of water for the horses that dwell within Rhazorn. A smaller area, certainly, but a delightful one nonetheless.

• • assuaging springs
Definitely one of the most envied territories within all of Vixentile, there are several large, though discreetly-placed hot springs that sit within the cover of the thickly-trunked trees surrounding them. Capable of easing the pain of most wounds and/or aching muscles, this is a divine place to venture to after battle, or perhaps just to rest one’s mind. The fact that this land belongs to Rhazorn has angered many, but that fact hardly goes noticed by the Rhazorn themselves. They are fiercely protective over this area, so travellers, I suggest you tread carefully.
