• • forsaken brake
Taking up majority of the Faerival Dominion is one rather massive, thick forest of densely-knit, leanly sculpted trees. Their branches are thin and frail, and, unlike most other large forests, a great matter of light is still able to shelter through the thinner, scattered canopy, illuminating the lush forest floor. Now, this area has a rather eerie, yet serene feel to it—calm, yet bearing possible danger. For the inhabitants of Faerival, this is a rather populated, genuinely enjoyed place, while to strangers, it nearly seems forbidding, forewarning them of the possible strife to come. A dangerous place, or a diamond in the rough? Many are conflicted, and it seems to be a simple matter of opinion.

• • concealed heath
Backing onto the Forsaken Brake, this secluded little meadow is definitely the perfect place to catch one’s bearings, and ease a restless soul. Isolated from all other territories thanks to the thick layer of forest surrounding it, very little sound leaks into the peaceful meadow, and from the moment you enter it is hard not to feel yourself reclining into a state of contentment. It’s a quaint, cute little field, however is not lacking—a small creek crosses through the middle of the plot of land, thus providing water for those who may be in need of it. A dear place within the heart of any Faerival, indeed.

• • effervescent coast
Now, this is certainly one of the most enjoyable areas within the Dominion—miles upon miles of untouched, dampened sand extends along the water’s edge, as if shamelessly guarding the territory from the ebbing, gentle waves. Quaint clusters of grasses and small shrubbery are scattered amongst the sand in certain areas, thus making this place a rather convenient area to make yourself comfortable within, however, not if you are a stranger. This area is considered the most sacred, prized area within the territory, and here, those of Faerival do no appreciate uninvited guests.

• • seaside hollows
Now, should one follow the length of the beach towards the westernmost point of Faerival, they will come across several jagged, abrupt rocks protruding from the shallow water’s surface. Several of these rocks are just that—rocks, taking the blunt force of the waves. However, majority of the rocks are littered with caves, both little and small, thus providing wonderful shelter for those seeking it. They vary in size, some barely large enough to fit a foal into, while others could fit several equines at once, and some of them even have a sandy inner, providing a good surface to rest upon. However, be careful for the tide—should it rise, these could become deadly.
